THE COMPANY
Tradeswomen America was founded by SBA award winning CEO Alexander Loudon in memory of her mother. At her death, her daughter Alex formally establish the company with a focus on empowering women and minorities, and educating people in the trades to obtain sustainable, successful trade careers and business ownership.

THE SCHOLARSHIP
The Tradeswomen America Scholarship (TW Scholarship) is a highly selective, last-dollar scholarship for outstanding individuals from low-income households. Selected Scholars will receive funding for part or all of the cost of attendance to earn a college diploma in a skilled trade, that is not already covered by other financial aid and the expected family contribution, as determined by the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), or the methodology used by a Scholar’s school or college.
The award for each TW Scholarship varies, depending on the individual’s tuition need, career path, and college selected. The award is intended to fully cover tuition to completion of a certificate, diploma, or degree in a skilled trade. The average award is approximately $8,500.00.
TO REMAIN ELIGIBLE STUDENTS MUST SUBMIT:
1. A completed FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) prior to each academic year. This is obtained at the www.fafsa.ed.gov website.
2. Transcripts showing that they are continuing to meet their institution’s academic requirements, at the beginning of each academic year.
3. Enrollment Verification forms dated the day after the start of each new term.
Additionally, students must maintain Tradeswomen America active membership status and must maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress towards skilled trade certificate, diploma, or degree attainment.

MEMBERSHIP
An Annual Membership starts on the date the membership is processed and expires one year later. For example, a membership that starts on June 1 will be active through May 31 of the following year. When a membership is renewed before it expires, the new membership term will start after the current membership year is completed.
Membership dues and donations support our scholarship programs and outreach activities. Indvidual annual membership dues are only Twenty Five Dollars (US $25). There may be a Three Dollar (US $3) processing fee our payment processor charges us should that option be chosen. Thank you for your understanding and generous support!
THE MEMBERSHIP FEE IS NON-REFUNDABLE. IF YOU DECIDE TO CANCEL YOUR MEMBERSHIP, YOUR MEMBERSHIP WILL AUTOMATICALLY EXPIRE AT THE END OF YOUR ONE (1) YEAR MEMBERSHIP TERM. YOU MAY TERMINATE THE MEMBERSHIP AUTOMATIC RENEWAL THROUGH THE CONTACT PAGE AT THIS WEBSITE. INCLUDE ALL CONTACT INFORMATION AND YOUR MEMBERSHIP ID# NUMBER.
We may, in our sole and absolute discretion, change the Membership Fee. If the Membership Fee changes, your membership will be valid for the remaining period of time applicable within the one (1) year membership term at the original Membership Fee amount paid.
Bank transfers and all credit cards and debit cards can be used to pay for your membership. If the card on file for you that was used to pay for the membership is declined for payment of your membership fee, you must provide us a new card promptly or your membership will be canceled. If you provide us with a new card and are successfully charged, your membership period will be based on the original sign-up date and not the date of the successful charge.
FOLLOWING THE INITIAL ONE (1) YEAR TERM OF YOUR MEMBERSHIP, YOUR MEMBERSHIP WILL AUTOMATICALLY RENEW FOR ADDITIONAL ONE (1) YEAR TERMS UNLESS YOU NOTIFY US IN WRITING VIA THE ONLINE CONTACT FORM OF YOUR DESIRE TO CANCEL YOUR MEMBERSHIP
UNLESS YOU NOTIFY US BEFORE A CHARGE THAT YOU DO NOT WANT TO AUTO RENEW, YOU UNDERSTAND THAT YOUR MEMBERSHIP WILL AUTOMATICALLY CONTINUE AND YOU AUTHORIZE US (WITHOUT NOTICE TO YOU, UNLESS REQUIRED BY APPLICABLE LAW) TO COLLECT THE THEN-APPLICABLE MEMBERSHIP FEE (CURRENTLY US $25, BUT SUBJECT TO CHANGE) AND ANY PROCESSING FEE AND TAXES, USING ANY CREDIT OR DEBIT CARD WE HAVE ON RECORD FOR YOU.
WE AND OUR THIRD PARTY PAYMENT SERVICE PROVIDERS MAY REQUEST, AND MAY RECEIVE FROM YOUR PAYMENT CARD ISSUER UPDATED PAYMENT CARD INFORMATION, INCLUDING UPDATED PAYMENT CARD NUMBERS OR EXPIRATION DATES. IF WE OR OUR THIRD PARTY PAYMENT SERVICE PROVIDERS RECEIVE UPDATED INFORMATION, WE MAY USE THAT INFORMATION TO PROCESS PAYMENT FOR YOUR APPLICABLE MEMBERSHIP RENEWAL FEE. YOUR PAYMENT CARD ISSUER MAY ALLOW YOU TO OPT OUT OF THIS SERVICE. PLEASE CONTACT YOUR PAYMENT CARD ISSUER FOR MORE INFORMATION.
